Breakfast Briefing for Company Secretaries: DAC 6 – The clock is ticking
The objective of this online event is for corporate secretaries to have a clear understanding of the new EU mandatory disclosure rules (Directive 2018/822 on mandatory automatic exchange of information in the field of taxation for reportable cross-border arrangements – otherwise known as “DAC 6”) that will have an impact on the business of many financial market players but may also impact the tax profile of taxpayers going forward. The session will provide an overview of the scope and explore how to assess the DAC 6 impact and the key role of corporate secretaries in this respect.
Target audience
The webinar will be targeted to corporate secretaries that would like to gain a clear understanding of the DAC 6 Directive and its impact for their companies from a governance perspective.
In a nutshell, the ILA Company Secretarial and Governance Officer Committee aim to foster the development of the Luxembourg corporate governance framework, by assisting professionals involved in Board support roles in order for them to better support and manage Boards as well as some key stakeholders of a company.
ILA Company Secretarial and Governance Officer Committee also focuses on supporting the role of Company Secretaries in Luxembourg, by developing high professional standards and best practices, dedicated training programs and networking opportunities.
